Round 1

• In the first round candidates appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). SET is a common entrance test conducted in computer based mode in several cities across India.
• A candidate can appear for SET/SITEEE on both the dates May 02, 2026 (Saturday) & May 10, 2026 (Sunday), If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.

SET Application is a two-step process:

Step 1 :

• You may apply on SET Test and pay a non-refundable & not transferrable application fee of Rs 2,250/-
• Select the institute and click the button "Click here to Finalize the amount to be paid" in the 'Make Payment' section.
• Pay a non-refundable & not transferrable application fee for Rs 1,000/.

Step 2 :

• Choose the option 'General (SET-General)'in the 'PROGRAMME/DISCIPLINE PREFERENCE' section.
• Choose the option 'Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication [SCMC] - [B.A. (M.C)]' in the 'PROGRAMMES UNDER GENERAL; Select Institute(s) you may apply to (General)' section.
• Choose the option 'Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication [SCMC] - [B.B.A. (M.M)]' in the 'PROGRAMMES UNDER GENERAL; Select Institute(s) you may apply to (General)' section.
• Select the institute and click the button "Click here to Finalize the amount to be paid" in the 'Make Payment' section.
• Pay a non-refundable application fee for Rs 1,000/- per programme.
